Torchic: Fire Type

Torchic ran as fast as she could, there was no way she was going to be able to outrun the avalanche, but she was at least going to try to get out of its way. She could feel the ground rumbling under her feet, it must be nearly on top of her, but she didn't have time to look, she needed to focus on running. She was so close to the cave now, just a few more steps. As her foot hit the ground, the snow underneath it seems to turn to liquid, she wouldn't make it.

Torchic sat on the end of the pier, his toes touching the water as he watched the boats pull in and out of port. He had grown up in this small coastal city and had seen it grow over the years. He loved it here, after all it was his home, but something pulled at him. There was a feeling deep down inside of him that seemed to whisper, 'there is more out there.' He sighed, one day, one day soon he would follow that prompting for adventure.
