Riolu: Fighting Type
Pulling against his chains Riolu yelled, "You fool! Don't let your emotions take control of you!" Across the room, Gardevoir slowly picked up her longsword and returned it to it’s sheath. Keeping her back to him, she calmly stated, "You can't stop me, I've made up my mind." Riolu's heart dropped. "Then take me with you!" He begged. Gardevoir shook her head in response, and as she walked out the door her last words were, " You would only get in my way." Riolu looked around; he had to get out and stop her, before she went too far.
Nearly all Riolu possess the ability to sense the aura of other nearby creatures. The auras appear to them as different color waves radiating from the creature, different emotions showing as different colors. They can also communicate to a select few using their Aura in a language that only creatures finely turned to auras can understand. The language consists of rapidly and artificially changing their auras to get across basic ideas. They are manually altered by the metallic like domes on their arms. The communication causes no sound and those who can’t sense auras are unable to see it making it a great way of communicating silently.
Most Riolu are cautious creatures by nature. They won't approach any one that they sense could be dangerous or have strong auras. They are small, but powerful and wont hesitate to fight for what they believe in even if they are frightened. However, once they have started a fight, they won't stop until they feel they have given it their all. They say this drive to be victorious comes from their early ancestors. The story goes there once was a village of Riolu and Lucario who swore their allegiance to a Legend and in return gained immortality. Now this group of immortal Pokemon travel around the plains protecting those that are too weak to protect themselves, their children gaining the same endurance and fortitude that they now possess.
Living in large groups with other creatures is where most Riolu feel comfortable. They enjoy watching others live their day to day lives and observe how the colors of their auras mix together as they interact with one another. Its not uncommon to see a Riolu sitting outside or at a window simply observing others walk by with a faint, content smile on their face.
Allignment: Living by a strong code, many Riolu will fight for what they believe in and strive to understand others. Even though they attempt to understand others' views and don't like to press their own values on those they meet. This noble nature is something others often seek out when they need to find someone to help them.

150 years old is about the length of time that the Riolu line will live. They gain maturity around 20 years old and are considered to be adults at 25. Older they get, the more black the white parts on their hands become. It is said that if a Riolu lives to be 170 years old the metal domes on their arms will become magnetized.
