Psyduck: Water Type

Psyduck’s head was throbbing even more than usual. Suddenly, something hit him causing him to fall to the ground. Opening his eyes slightly, he looked around. His stomach had been hit by a fireball and it was still smoking. Were they in a fight now? He sat up and looked around carefully. There were three...no, four Pokemon around him. Two of them were his friends, so the other two had to be their opponents. A sharp sting pulsed through his head causing him to clutch it with frustration. Something important was going on. Why did his head have to act up now?

Psyduck only uses half of their brain at a time. Because of this, they constantly have a mindless look on their face. They will only use their full brain power when it is absolutely necessary, but when they do, they have amazing psychokinetic powers. The power is so strong that it causes them to have a constant headache ,whether or not it's being used, and may cause them to cry in agony when their brain is used fully.

Most Psyduck have a hard time forming long-term memories. They will constantly forget important things and struggle with remembering how to use their powers. Half of their brain is almost always asleep, keeping the pain in their head from becoming unbearable.

Psyduck tend to live near water, but can be found all over. They will often live under the care of other creatures due to their memory loss until they evolve. If they live on their own, they may frequently get lost and forget what they are doing mid-task.

Allignment: Psyduck have a hard time understanding anything. When others try to explain things, it tends to confuse them even more. They often are just trying to keep themselves alive, but may find themselves in trouble because of their limited brain power.

Abilities: Pick One

Damp: You hear a soft clicking noise and smile. Your opponent is trying to make a spark to start an explosion. But they can't. The air around you is wet, making it impossible to pull their trump card. The high ground is now yours.

All creatures or objects within 10 ft of you are resistant to fire damage, including yourself. You are also immune to the racial attacks self destruct, explosion and mind blown, if you are within the damage zone of these attacks nothing happens.

Cloud Nine: You close your eyes and smile. It's going to be a sunny, amazing day, no matter what the weather looks like. Nothing could spoil your day. It may be raining around you, but for you it is nice and sunny.

No effects of weather conditions can exist within a radius around you equal to 2 times your player level.

Swift Swim: As the rain falls you can see the water level start to raise. Within no time at all the water is up to your waist. Your opponent tries to attack you, but this is your element, there is no way there sluggish moves will hit you.

If it is raining you gain 20 feet speed. You are also immune to all negative effects caused by rain.

Full Power

When you attempt to use your mind's full power pick a target that you can see and roll 1D4. Depending on what you roll a spell instantly takes effect. If the target is not within range you are teleported to a close enough location to use the spell. If you use this trait in combat you must use it at the start of your turn before taking any other actions, the spell uses the appropriate action. If the spell requires concentration and you are already concentrating on something, you lose concentration on your previous task. If you roll a 1 is you cast Acid Splash, 2 is Dancing Lights, 3 is Fire Bolt and 4 is Friends. You do not need components to use the spells and if they require a spell DC and you do not have one your spell DC is 8+proficiency+Constitution modifier. You may use this trait once per long rest. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.

Evolution Trait

Cacophony: If anyone annoys you or makes loud noises around you, your headache will get worse and your psychic powers will randomly affect something nearby. Creatures get thrown backwards and knocked prone, roll 1D20, if you get a 20 all enemies are thrown, if you roll a 1 then all allies get thrown. If any other number is rolled only small items or objects are knocked over. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.
