Porygon: Normal Type

As soon as Porygon’s friend cast her lightning bolt spell, Porygon zipped inside of it, following the beam of energy towards their foe. He wouldn’t be able to go the full distance, but this boost would get him close enough for their enemy to be in range of his next attack. It was hard to see what was going on around him as he was propelled forward. Everything was blurry and obstructed by the arcing electricity. He had to rely on his friend to point him in the right direction.

Porygon are almost entirely made up out of magical, electrical energy. They have solid bodies that can shift into a loose form when in contact with electricity allowing them to move freely through most electrical currents. Most prefer to eat things that have a kick to them and may even electrify their food to make it taste better. Porygon tend to be smart Pokemon with a knack for numbers and calculations, however, the way they think is often much different from other creatures making it hard for them to clearly get their ideas across to others.

It is said that the first Porygon was not made by a legendary. Because of this, most clerics or legend fearing creatures will not go near a Porygon, let alone befriend one. Porygon do not rely on another Pokemon to multiply. Instead, once they have reached maturity and have the proper equipment, they can split themselves to create another Porygon. Doing this is extremely taxing and will often cause the old Porygon to pass out for long lengths of time, relying on their new, smaller offspring to take care of them until they regain consciousness. This task seems to involve removing a limb causing a new Porygon to spring from it, however the right ritual and preparations must be made to cause this to happen as lost limbs do not normally sprout a new being.

Porygon can often be found in locations with high electricity or advanced magic and science. They feel most comfortable around other highly intelligent creatures and may be squires or servants to the smartest creatures in the land, preferring to serve them than to have to deal with other less intelligent creatures. When not living around or with well taught creatures, they tend to make their homes in places with wild electrical storms. Some have even found ways to collect this electricity and use it in their magic.

Porygon Traits

Allignment: Porygon tend to think logically about things and have a hard time understanding emotions but this isn’t to say they don’t have emotions. Their emotions are just as strong as any other creature, they just act logically on them rather than let their emotions dictate how they will act. They keep to themselves and will rarely go out of their way to help or hurt others, preferring to spend their time focusing on things that only they care about.

Height: 2’07”
Weight: 80 LBS

20 Feet

The Porygon line live to be about 100 years old. They reach maturity around 17 but are not considered to be adults till about 21 years old. As they get older the hard corners on their body will start to round off and on occasion may be confused for one of their more smooth evolutions.

You can speak, read and write Common and your choice of one of the following languages: Tankonian, Jthooic or Sonhinese. Many Porygon speak with a monotone voice and find it hard to change the tone mid sentence. It is unclear if this inability to change tone is a physical problem or more of a mental one.

There are 30 natures, pick a nature that best describes your character. Increase and decrease the appropriate stat accordingly.

Electrical Travel

When you touch an electrical current you may move along its path up to twice your normal movement speed as a reaction. When you end your movement in this manner you step outside of the current in the nearest unoccupied space, if no space is available you are forced back the way you came until a space is available. If the electricity would normally deal damage, such as an opponent's lightning attack, you take the damage before moving. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.

Racial Ability score increase

Porygon have bodys partially made up of magic and are very intelligent Pokemon. Your Intelligence ability score increases by +1. See rules on racial ability score increase for more information

No Pokemon has to evolve, but if Porygon wishes to it may evolve when it is attuned to a Link Cable and Up-Grade and levels up.

Porygon sat on the top of the castle wall as the rain fell down around her. Lightning would occasionally strike every now and again, slowly getting closer and closer to her. She took a deep breath as the rain washed over her. She could feel her heart speed up as a roar of thunder exploded a few miles off. It was almost here now. She smiled, trying to hold back a laugh. She spent her whole life chasing storms for the thrill that riding on lightning brung, it’s what gave her life.
