Mr. Mime: Psychic / Fairy Type

Mr. Mime closed his eyes and, taking a deep breath, stepped out onto the stage. The crowd let out a deafening cheer. He moved to the center, poised to begin his show. It was his time to shine. He needed to have all of the audience’s attention if their plan was going to work. “Ladies and gentlemen!” He gave a bow and glanced behind the stage to see his friends getting into position. He hated having to revert to stealing, but they needed to get funding somehow.

As their name implies, Mr. Mimes “mime” things out. They can do so with such accuracy that often others will start to believe that the objects they are miming really exist. Mr. Mimes gain their power from others believing, and if enough Pokemon believe in what they are miming, they can actually start to manipulate the air particles around them to make solid objects.

As would be expected, Mr. Mimes love to mime. If they are ever forced to stop in the middle of a performance, they get incredibly angry and will slap anyone involved in whatever caused them to stop. Mr. Mimes tend to show off their miming skills whenever they get the chance.

Mr. Mimes like to live in cities or towns with other Pokemon. The more Pokemon living in the area, the better. There are a handful of Mr. Mimes who will travel from city to city performing, much like traveling salesmen. The thrill of showing off their skills in front of new crowds is too much to stay put. Whenever they run across a fellow Mr. Mime, they will often challenge them to a miming duel.

Mr. Mime walked down the street, lost in his thoughts. A crowd down the street caught his attention. What were they were looking at? On top of a crate stood another Mr. Mime, performing for the crowd. He smiled. That had been him a few years back, but he had found a group of people to adventure with, ending her solo career. "Hey! You there!' The Mr. Mime on the stand yelled, pointing at him. He looked at him skeptically. The stranger grinned and continued "I want to challenge you to a competition!"
