Mewtwo: Psychic Type

Mewtwo took a tentative step back as the Pokemon all around her started to shout. Shaking her head and covering her ears, she managed to say, “No, no. That's not what I meant. You just don’t understand.” The group of Pokemon around her pressed in closer, her words seeming to have only made them angrier. How could they think she didn’t care? Why did she care that they cared? Everything just seemed so messed up. She wished they would all just go away and leave her alone. Why had she ever left her home?

Due to its actions long ago, the original Mewtwo was cursed to never have help from the other legendaries to create offspring. Because of this, Mewtwo created a way of gene splicing to create other Mewtwo in a lab. It is a difficult process and requires tons of time, patience, and expensive materials to do. It is forbidden by the life legendaries to create another Pokemon life, however, Mewtwo don’t seem to care what they think. Their DNA is closely related to that of Mew, but most Mewtwo are too proud to admit this.

Because they are born in a lab and rarely have interactions with other Pokemon, most Mewtwo have a hard time showing their emotions and are often labeled as cold or uncompassionate. These misunderstandings leave most Mewtwo wanting to be left alone and hating interacting with others. Mewtwo can stand nearly motionless; they do this to conserve energy or to hide. They are very good at hiding, so you may have seen one and didn’t even notice. Although they don’t tend to start fights, they will always try to finish them. Once they start fighting, they will not rest until their enemy is completely destroyed.

Most Mewtwo prefer to live off on their own in remote areas like caves or small islands where they can sit peacefully and think without others interrupting. If another creature tries to invade their home, they will either fight back or quickly run off to find a new one.

Mewtwo Traits

Allignment: Pokemon tend to think that Mewtwo are cold or evil, but they just have a hard time communicating. They tend to calculate everything before taking action and try to find the most efficient way to do things. They tend not to care about other creatures and just want to be left alone.

Unnerve: Your foe glances over at you as they raise the berry to their lips. You harshly glare at them and yell, “ Hey, that's against the rules, you can’t eat that mid battle!” They hesitate. Good, you're getting through to them, you will have to convince them not to eat it, if they don't listen to you and eat it you're in deep trouble.
