Masquerain: Bug / Flying Type

Masquerain flew as fast as he could. His wings felt heavy and he could smell the humidity increasing, it wouldn't be long till it started to rain, and he needed to be under cover by the time it caught up to him. He quickly flew threw some trees and spotted a small hut a few feet off. As he aimed himself towards the hut a large raindrop landed on his back causing him to fall to the forest floor, just a little farther!

The eye like pattern on Masquerain's wings can often cause other Pokemon to be intimidated or startled. Pokemon who aren't that bright may even mistaken there wings for there actual eyes. There wings can move in almost any directing allowing them to fly forwards, backwards and at nearly any angle, but pulling their wings together quickly they can also drop quickly from the sky.

Not Available

When the humidity increases rapidly Masquerain's wings will start to get heavy and droop, allowing them to sense when rain is on its way. They can not fly in the rain and must look for a dry place during storms for fear the heavy drops will rip their wings apart. To dry off, Masquerain will sprawl out in the sun and let it naturally evaporate off of them.

Not Available

A majority of Masquerain do not like living in wet, moist area's and will do everything they can to stay in dry locations. If they can't live somewhere dry they will at least find a place that has coverage from the rain like under the canopy of large trees.

Abilities: Pick One

Intimidate: You grin as your foe tries to push themselves back up. Your last attack had hit hard and you can see new fear in their eyes. They had underestimated you before, but now that they know your true strength, they are terrified.

At the start of your turn on the first round of combat, all hostile creatures within line of sight must make a Wisdom saving throw. If failed, they become frightened for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus or until they take damage. Your DC save is 8+Proficiency+Charisma.

Unnerve: Your foe glances over at you as they raise the berry to their lips. You harshly glare at them and yell, “ Hey, that's against the rules, you can’t eat that mid battle!” They hesitate. Good, you're getting through to them, you will have to convince them not to eat it, if they don't listen to you and eat it you're in deep trouble.

You may use your reaction to prevent any enemy within 30 feet from using a consumable item (such as a scroll or potion).

Masquerain stood on her toes as she looked around alertly. She pumped her wings to help dry them off faster. She hated being vulnerable like this, if another Pokemon tried to attack her in this state she would definitely loose. She quickly swiveled around to keep an eye out behind her. It wouldn't be long till the near by group of bandits would spot her, she needed to be dry by then. Pumping her wings again she turned back around and her heart dropped. A Poochyena stood nose to nose with her grinning widely. She jumped back as far as she could as the Poochyena said, " well what do we have here?"
