Kingdra quickly swam deeper and deeper into the water, the sunlight around him quickly disappearing. Could he get down deep enough before they caught him? He didn't dare look behind him; that would make him slow down, and he needed all the head start he could get.

Legends tell of a small group of Kingdra that can create whirlpools simply by yawning and are considered to be the reason for many strang currents. Kingdra fins are known for being extremely strong and if they swim fast, they can create currents behind them that may cause others to fall over. However this burst of speed can quickly tire them out. Kingdra can often be found near royalty, either as guards or as leaders due to their strong nature and proud stature.

Kingdra are known for their bursts of strength, however after the brief surge they become very tired and have been known to fall asleep on the side of the path to regain their strength when traveling. Falling asleep at inopportune times is never good for anyone, but Kingdra have a knack for regaining their senses quickly. Kingdra can swim deeper than almost any other creature, so when they need to escape, they will swim too deep for their foes to follow them. Storms that stir up the water and seem to have an energetic effect on Kingdra; they will often swim around during the crazy weather, fighting or playing on the upset currents.

The deeper Kingdra are underwater, the more comfortable they are. There are underwater villages in deep trenches where all the creatures living there navigate by sonar. If they can't sleep in the depths, a pitch black room is often an acceptable replacement.

Abilities: Pick One

Swift Swim: As the rain falls you can see the water level start to raise. Within no time at all the water is up to your waist. Your opponent tries to attack you, but this is your element, there is no way there sluggish moves will hit you.

If it is raining you gain 20 feet speed. You are also immune to all negative effects caused by rain.

Sniper: You take a deep breath and aim. No need to rush things. Take all the time you need to get the perfect shot.You only get one shot, so it must be perfect.

When you roll a critical hit on any ranged attack add one extra die of damage.

Damp: You hear a soft clicking noise and smile. Your opponent is trying to make a spark to start an explosion. But they can't. The air around you is wet, making it impossible to pull their trump card. The high ground is now yours.

All creatures or objects within 10 ft of you are resistant to fire damage, including yourself. You are also immune to the racial attacks self destruct, explosion and mind blown, if you are within the damage zone of these attacks nothing happens.

Quick movements

Once per long rest if you use the dash action all creatures within 5 feet of the space you run through must make a Dexterity saving throw greater than 10+your Dexterity, if failed they get knocked prone. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.

Evolution Trait

Whirlpools: Once per long rest, as an action you may cause any creature within 15 feet of you to be pulled to 5 feet from you. If no space is available they get pulled to the nearest unoccupied space. The nearest creatures get pulled first, if there is a tie you pick the order of the tied creatures. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.


Kingdra sat in the throne room, his thoughts starting to wander. He had been listening to complaints for the last few hours and was getting really annoyed. The next Pokemon swam in and started mumbling about some small problem they had. Suddenly, something snapped inside of Kingdra and he shouted, "That's it! I'm done listening to all these stupid, trivial problems!" The water in front of him started to swirl around as he yelled louder, "Can't any of you solve your own problems?!" The water in the courtroom was now violently moving and bubbling. All the other Pokemon in the room were starting to have a hard time staying still. If he didn't calm down soon, the room itself could be destroyed.
