Dunsparce

Dunsparce: Normal Type

Dunsparce slid as fast as her body would let her, she glanced behind her for a moment to see it gaining, she wasn't entirely sure what was chasing her, but it didn't look like it wanted to make friends. She ducked into some bushes and started to dig furiously with her tail, she needed to get fully submerged under ground before it could catch her. About halfway down she saw its large paw move the bush she was in. She just needed a few more moments.

Not Available

Dunsparce deals with intense situations by running away backwards and digging itself into the ground with its drill-like tail. It finds comfort being surrounded by dirt. The spikes on their jaw are very sensitive and if placed on the ground can help them sense their surroundings in the dark. Due to spending most of their time in the dark, most Dunsparce have very bad eyesight.

Not Available

The small wings on Dunsparces' back gives it very little lift, at one point in time they may have been used to fly, but now they can only bring them across small distances with great effort. Dunsparce can stay absolutely still for long periods of time with little effort. If they feel they are being followed they may stay still until their pursuers give up.

Not Available

Dunsparce love to be underground, they can be found on top of the soil, but they prefer to make their homes under the dirt with other Dunsparce in long winding tunnels. If they can't live underground, their second favorite place to live is dark caves.

Dunsparce Traits

Allignment: Dunsparce don't really care what happens around them as long as they aren't in immediate danger. They don't seem to have a good grasp of long term consequences and may often do foolish things in the spur of the moment without thinking about what may happen in the future.

Abilities: Pick One

Serene Grace: You close your eyes and take a deep breath. You are one with the world, whatever the universe has in store for you is what will happen, and there is nothing anyone else can do about it. All you can do is be a vessel for what the universe wants.

As a bonus action you may cause an enemy to have disadvantage on a saving throw against one of your attacks. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier.

Run Away: As the fight rages on in front of you, your legs start to tremble. This isn't what you signed up for, this fight is just too intense, your foes too strong. There is no way you can win. You look around you, it is time to make a strategic escape.

You can take the disengage or dash action as a bonus action on each of your turns.

Rattled: Your eyes go wide. There's no way, anything but that! You can’t stand spooky Pokemon. Something about them scares you to your core. You feel something touch you and you take off. You have to get away from here before they do something worse then just touch you.

If you gain the frightened condition your speed is doubled for 1 minute. Also, if you are targeted by a Dark, Ghost or Bug type racial attack your speed increases by 15 feet for 5 rounds. This ability can not stack on itself.

Digging

You have a digging speed of 15 feet. To use this speed you can not be wearing heavy armor or have any weapons equipped. (see digging speed for more information) This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.

Dunsparce quickly scooted backwards, his tail diggin rapidly through the dirt pulling him forward, he wasn't on his way to anywhere in particular, just enjoying the feeling of moving smoothly through the dirt. His tail clicked on something hard causing him to stop digging and with some effort he turned around. In the dirt in front of him lay a translucent red orb with some strange symbol on the inside, if this is what he thought it was, then he was in big trouble.
