Bulbasaur: Grass / Poison Type

Bulbsaur's legs gave out, causing her body to collapse onto the hard cavern floor. She had been traveling underground for days now and it had been too long since she had felt the warm sun on her skin. She tried to push herself back up, but her body wouldn't let her. She was too weak. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on breathing. Her heavy breaths echoed off the cave walls as tears started to form in her eyes. She couldn't go out like this, alone in a cave. No one knew where she was so no one would know to come looking for her body. Her chest started to shake and convulse with sobs. She had known this quest was going to be a dangerous one, but she didn't think it would be the end of her. Her body lay on the cold floor, alone, the rocky ground scratching her as she cried uncontrollably. After a wail, a new sound reverberated off the walls causing her to stop crying and her ears to perk up. She looked around the cave frantically. Could someone else really be down here? "Hello," she called out weakly. After a moment of silence she cried out again, "Hello? Is someone there? I-I need help." After a moment she heard some footsteps moving towards her from just a short way down the cave. A smile spread across her face and a giddy chuckle escaped her mouth. She was going to be saved. She then spotted the Pokemon and her heart fell.

When Bulbasaur are born, their parents will plant a magic infused seed on the Bulbasaur’s back. This seed will often be one that the parents grow themselves, passing on the same plant for generations. As the Bulbasaur grows, the plant will as well. Both Bulbasaur and the seed on their back use nutrients from the other to live. If the seed doesn't get planted soon after they are born, the Bulbasuar will not survive.

Most Bulbasaur enjoy laying in the sun and using their bulb to absorb the sunlight and photosynthesize. In a pinch, they can use their bulb’s energy as a type of food, allowing them to go a long time without food. However, avoiding hunger this way is often unsatisfactory and will still leave the bulbasaur with a craving for food even if they don’t need it to live.

Not Available

Bulbasaur will often make homes anywhere where it is warm and sunny, allowing them to grow comfortably. Their homes will often have tons of light, letting them lay about in its warmth in the comfort of their own homes. They also tend to find joy when surrounded by other grass type Pokemon. Some Bulbsaur may even join traveling caravans that venture to the warmest areas around the globe with other grass type Pokemon, allowing them to see new places but also say warm.

Bulbasaur Traits

Bulbasaur kept himself as low to the ground as possible as he crept through the bushes. Overhead, a group of Pidgey scanned the ground. They were looking for him, and if they found him... He shuttered. It wouldn't be good. He pulled himself carefully into the next bush, careful to disturb the branches as little as possible. If it were just the Pidgey he had to worry about, he would just stay put and hide, but soon they would send the Growlithe guards out and they would easily be able to sniff him out if he hid anywhere nearby. He needed to keep moving. He crawled to the edge of the bush and looked for an opening to run to the next group of shrubs. Why did he always have the urge to take anything shiny nearby, and why was he cursed to have the skills to be able to pull it off? His whole life he was a kleptomaniac, and if he wasn't careful, it would be the death of him.
