Alakazam: Psychic Type

Alakazam grinned as the Machop in front of her started to turn red in frustration. " Come on old lady, just tell me what happened!" He shouted grabbing onto her robe. Her smile widened as she slowly, calmly said, "I may be old, but I know many things, and I know that you can't handle the truth. If you knew, it would destroy you."

Brain Cells

Alakazam are constantly creating new brain cells, its because of this that they remember everything they see, learn or read. Most are amazing historians with an incredible IQ, however they must concentrate and meditate in order to recall the information they store in their brain. By closing their eyes they block out all the noise around them their psychic power increases allowing them to remember things they saw long ago or helping them to calculate their foes movements gaining an edge in battle. Most Alakazam are not good at physically attacking and prefer to use their magic or psychic abilities.

Memory

Once per long rest if you concentrate and meditate for 1 minute you can recall something from your past. You must think about what it is you are trying to recall and the memory may be fuzzy or incomplete. Your DM will tell you what you remember. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.

Old Spoon

When Alakazam evolve they will often get rid of their old spoons, and create new ones embedding them with psychic and magical energy. They will rarely let any pokemon touch their new spoons as they hold them sacred, however it is said that all food that you eat with them will be enhanced by the spoons magical energy. Alakazam have brains that are constantly growing and upon evolution it becomes too heavy for them to hold up by natural means so they use some of their psychic energy to hold their head upright.

Knowledge

Most Alakazam love information and constantly are craving new knowledge. They can be found often in libraries studying, many of them owning their own private libraries. They also seem to enjoy meditating by themselves to attempt to learn and understand how the world works, if you interrupt them during this time they may give you a stern talking to.

Alakazam Traits

Allignment: Alakazam only has the desire to learn more and will only help others if they offer them new information or facts to them in return for their help. Most pokemon would call them selfish, however they see it more as enlightened.

Evolution

This is the final evolution of this line. Alakazam can no longer evolve, however it can mega evolve at level 15. (See Mega Alakazam for upgrades)

Alakazam Names

Possible names for Alakazam

Upon evolution many Pokemon change their name to better fit their new form and their new lifestyle. Some possible new names a Alakazam might take on are: Foodin, Alakazam, Simsala, Fudin, Fudihk, Hudi, Jean, Eugene, Houdini, Robert or Hary.

Abilities: Pick One

Synchronize: You watch what your enemy is doing and can start to see a pattern in their attacks. So that's how they do that. Now that you know their secret, it's your turn to hit them.

When you gain a condition you may use your reaction to give the same condition to the creature who gave you the condition.

Inner Focus: You close your eyes and everything around you seems to slow down. You can see your opponents; they are hiding and seem to think they have the upper hand. That's cute, as soon as they get close enough you will destroy them.

You can not be surprised. If a surprise round is initiated in your party you may attack that round.

Magic Guard: You watch as your foes start to chant under their breath. You raise your hand and the light around you shimmers and you grin. Just let them try to hit you with a spell.

You can use your reaction to gain advantage on a save against a spell or impose disadvantage on a spell attack targeting solely you.

Evolution Trait

Spoon focus: You have the ability to change any mundane spoon into a focus of your choosing, however only you can use the focus, if any other creature attempts to use the spoon it acts like an ordinary spoon. It takes 5 hours of concentration to turn a spoon into a focus. This is a temporary trait, when the sheet is finished it will be updated.


Alakazam stood on top of the tower scanning the crowd of Pokemon below.
